As an estimate, do Roman shades cost more or less than faux wood blinds?
I can't move into my new home until December, but want to get an idea of what window coverings will cost. I estimate it would be about $3000 for faux wood blinds for my 2300 sq ft house, but have no clue how Roman shades run. Anyone know??Would you agree both are still a lot cheaper than plantation shutters?

My window blinds in my bedroom are old and beat up, so I want to buy a new set. I'm really sick and tired of white aluminum and want to buy something different. I would like wood set in a brown, but I can't find one anywhere in my window size roughly 58" x58" , give or take a half inch .I've tried walmart, target, home depot, lowes, sears, ebay, etc. No luck at all. I want to spend approximately $30 $50 if possible, $80 $100 at worst. Unfortunately, no one seems to sell wood blinds for my sized windows. They all seem to be for smaller width windows. Does anyone know of a decent, and reputable, online shop that doesn't cost too much, who might have what I am looking for?
