How to install quarter round in room with wood paneling?
I have a large living room where I'm installing quarter round against wood paneling. I'm making 45 degree cuts that go toward the wall rather than the floor. When I get to an open doorway that leads to another room, where there are baseboards instead on quarter round, where do I leave off? Do I take the piece of quarter round all the way to the edge of the doorway, or do I only take it up to the paneling that creates the frame of the passage way about 4 inches from edge of door frame ? Also, should I just use stain to cover the visible cuts?

Where can I get radial quarter rounds of tile?
There's a lot that I want to do with radial quarter rounds of tile. Tile shaped like a stick of celery. Where can I find it at a good price? Nobody seems to carry it anymore, at least not at a decent price. Can any of you help?Think of a tile that if you hold it on edge, it looks like a letter " C" . These are not the porcelain countertop edging pieces that Lowe's has.Lowe's and Home depot do not have these pieces, at least not around here.I only see them in custom tile shops for a good hunk of $$. I want cheap
Do I need quarter-round for hardwood flooring?
We installed bamboo composite wood flooring. There's very little gap between the baseboard and the floor. Our contractor says we don't need quarter round because there's very little gap. Our designer says we need it 'anywhere wood meets wood, it's the standard.' Who's right?
Quarter round around tub?
Re tiled my bathroom this past weekend and had a brain fart when I got up to tub. Instead of butting the tile next to the tub, I didn't get too in depth w the measurements and left about an 1 8 1 4" gap from end of tile to tub itself. The rubber sealer you put down that sticks to tub and floor is not wide enough at bottom and still shows a gap. Question is Would plastic quarter round be fine to put here then caulk on each side to assure of no water getting through? Should I grout the space up to the tub and then apply the rubber stick on sealer?

Is the old quarter-round worth keeping?
I'm going to refinish the wood floor in my hallway. It's not that I'm being cheap. I was just thinking that the quarter round I'll be taking off is already cut to size and will save me the trouble if I can keep and re use the old stuff. The quarter round will be painted, if that helps with your opinion.
