Why does my convection oven leak water?
I have a dacor wall oven that leaks water from the back left corner. I took off the vent covering in the front beneath the door. When I cook something that releases a lot of steam, water pools in the venting area where the steam comes out as well as dripping out back left corner. I took off the metal covering in the back and it looks like the water is coming from the back left corner where the steam is channeled down to the vented area below the oven.It makes sense to me that steam should be coming out as things cook but should it be condensing and pooling water on the bottom?This is a Dacor wall oven, model CPS127B and I would guess it is approximately 15 years old. We are the second owners and I would say it has always done this. There isn't a drip tray or a part part missing based on the fact that it is set up like our previous Dacor wall oven.The oven and the bottom tray vented area is level.The water doesn't start to pool immediately, it seems like it is appears well into cooking and usually when we cook something that releases lots of moisture like when we do a roasted chicken etc.
Do convection ovens need 220 electricity?

It is an over the range model. I would love to buy a new one, unfortunately that is something I am not able to do. I am aware that there are cheap microwaves out there if you choose the convection microwave combo, they are not among the low price options. I am hopeful someone can help me.Thanks

My oven has not worked since I have moved in, I have tried to use it multiple times since I moved in and it has not worked. So I confronted my landlord, she sent in a repair man. Repair man said he can't fix it, and would ask the landlord to send a new one. Landlord told me up until the day she came that she would replace my oven. Then she showed up with a freaking plug in convection oven because she said " since the stove top works, all you need is the bottom half." So now I have this huge ass oven and stove top, which only half works, and a huge ass convection oven that is also taking up space in my kitchen. WTF DO I DO? It may have been different if she actually took out my oven. I am pissed.But tell me please, and seriously, IS THIS LEGAL?I guess it is a freaking toaster oven. That makes me even more mad. My landlady and my mother are both convincing me that it's better because it uses less of this and that and whatever. But now, like I said, I have a huge amount of room in my kitchen being taken up. We signed an amended lease, saying that she provided a convection oven. But it's a toaster oven. I am scared that if I write a letter like that to my landlady, she will whip out the guns and find something wrong with it and or yell at me and or hate me. I don't know. I didn't say anything about it when she brought it over, I was just silent. I didn't know what to say and I still don't.

They have advertised it on Television and usually what is on TV is not good.I have a microwave that had the convection too but I only use the microwave and not the convection. But my big oven needs fixing and this appliance looked so good I just want to be able to roast and broil and things like that.

Hi, I was looking at stores to buy a new stove and nowadays has many functions, including variety's with convection ovens, some just for baking only, or all included. What is a difference? Or is convection oven better than a traditional ovens?
