Is it legal to put kitchen appliances in bedroom?
currently i'm renting a room in NY. i want to move out into studio so that i can use kitchen freely. landlord likes me as a tenant and wants me to keep staying and suggested that i move into other bedroom of same building which is huge for a bedroom and turn part of it into kitchen putting stove and sink cabinet and use that big bedroom as like a studio it has bathroom as well . my concern is is it legal? if it's illegal, do i get into trouble too, or just landlord? if getting a gas line is too much of an issue, we should just get a small electric stove. has anyone done anything similar? what kind of work did it involve and how much did it cost? i'm not paying for it. but still i'm just wondering. thanks
Will unused electronic kitchen appliances get bad.?
Me and my fiance are going to get married in one year.And we want to make sure that we have prepared to start a new life together happily.So we started buy new things for our house.We have bought Blenders,Oven,Rice cookers etc .These things are kept in their own packings.I want to know whether these electronic things get spoiled without using for nearly one year,We have not used it even once,It is new ..Please clear my doubt.Will it get damaged or is it safe to keep ..URGENT

Are new kitchen appliances these days really only expected to last 3-5 years??? Seriously?
The salesguy told us that is true of ANY brand on refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, ovens, etc. He said " they don't make em like they used to " He's gotta be trying to pull one on me Funny thing though, he did try to push the cheaper of two models, when he almost had me on the more expensive model.

After the tornado, why do my kitchen appliances only work with the dryer on?
My house was built in the '30s, and the wiring is not up to date. We still have the little round glass fuses, and about 5 different breaker panels. With the tornadoes that just came through the South, I lost power for a few hours Weds night. When it came back on, the appliances all lit up beeped, then it went out again for a few minutes, then back on and stayed on. But the kitchen appliances on the right half of my kitchen oven, fridge, coffee maker didn't come back on. The microwave and t.v. powered on the left side of the kitchen work just fine. When I tried the light switch, they " tried" to light up, then " died." Plugged the coffee pot into a different outlet in the house where the power was working and it worked with no problem...After a bit more research, I've discovered that a back bedroom, kitchen appliances, basement lights, and dining room chandelier all will work but only if the dryer is turned on. The dryer only runs for a few seconds before it stops and blinks, like it lost power and came back on. The fuses have all been checked some changed , and all the breakers have been flipped off and on. Nada. Fridge is on an extension cord to the den, which has full power. What gives?Serious replies only, please.

Moving to downtown Toronto, where are the cheap home/ kitchen appliance shops and grocery stores?
I am moving to downtown Toronto and am not sure where I can find a Zellers or Walmart or somewhere that sells home kitchen appliances and home decor at a reasonable price? ...finely textured butter?Also I am looking for an appliance that will easily and efficiently grind coffee beans into a fine powder and green tea leaves into a fine powder while containing the dust that powdering tea makes . I can make a finely textured nut butter with a Cuisinart food processor but it turns into a big time and energy and attention consuming process especially if I want to avoid overheating. So I am wondering if there is an easy way. I can grind coffee beans into a fairly fine powder in the Braun electric coffee mill that I have but it also is a time and energy and attention consuming project which usually requires at least 6 or 7 cool down times. Same thing with tea.
