We are looking to replace 5 6 interior bedroom doors in our home. We have a contemporary style and are looking for something either completely plane flat, or potentially very simple with just one or maybe two panels. Problem seems to be that with the introduction of a panel the door becomes thinner at the panel perhaps just 1 4 or 1 2 thick. Has anybody come across a great and affordable solution?Thanks.
How to repair interior doors?
I own a rental house that appears to have interior doors that are covered with dark wood grain vinyl film. It's coming off in places and I'm looking for self adhesive vinyl wide enough to recover the doors. So far all I can find is contact paper that's 18" wide, I need it to be at least 30" wide. Anyone know where I can find it?

Painting plastic interior doors?
Hi We moved into a house built in 1993, in which all the interior doors are this gawd awful dirty yellow cream coloured plastic, moulded to look like wood. Given the other colours in house, painting them a dark apricot or brick colour would work well. But i'll make do with white if need be.My guess is that standard latex interior paint is not going to adhere at all. How would I go about doing this? How does one paint plastic? I have twelve doors to do in total.Or ... would the only option be to replace them?Many thanks for your help and suggestions.
What color should my interior doors be?
The hallway is painted a very light sand color and has laminate flooring that is a reddish oak color. The baseboard is the same color as the floor. My dilemma is what should my doors look like? There are 3 doors located in the hallway that I am replacing bedroom, bathroom, and spare room I also have 3 closet areas in the hallway 2 louvered 2 leaf doors that hide the water heater and furnace, these are currently white Another bi fold door at the end of the hallway and 2 narrow linen closet doors. All of the doors the 3 closet areas and 3 interior doors are being replaced with wooden unfinished pine doors. My thought was to stain all of the doors to match the color of the trim, which would in turn match the floor. Someone had suggested painting the doors the same color as the walls, or painting all of them white because they thought staining the doors would be too much " wood" in the hallway. I am just looking for suggestions. Thanks I also think that the trim that goes around the doors will be matching the baseboard, because I think that having white trim around the door with wood colored base board would look ridiculous.
Can I spray paint interior doors?
I have 6 interior doors that I need to paint white. I bought them primed. I am thinking about using a can of spray paint in hopes that the job will go faster since I'll be painting in my garage and it's 10 degrees outside. My husband thinks spray paint will look horrible. Thoughts? If you think I can use spray paint, what kind do you suggest? Thanks
From hollow interior doors to solid wood doors, will the door frames hold?
I wish to replace all my interior hollow doors with solid wooden doors but I do not know whether my door frames will hold because there is much more weight with the solid wood doors. Do I need new door frames or will my old ones suffice?
