When I close the sliding glass doors over my tub they won't stay closed. Tub not level. What can I do?

Do you think I(a 14 yr old girl) could remove sliding glass doors by myself?
I am a 14 year old girl and I want to update my bathroom. The first step is removing the sliding glass doors from my bathtub shower. Do you think I could possibly do this by myself my mom is of no help whatsoever and my did lives very far away and when he comes I don't think he wants to work very hard on a bathroom ? Also would it be possible for me to stain the cabinets and paint the walls by myself or would I need a professional ?Thanks so much

Calling Handy People, again! Need advice on screens doors for Pella sliding glass doors.?
We moved in to a 60s split level house last fall. In the family room we have TWO sets of Pella sliding glass doors in the back. We love the big windows looking at the woods. The doors do not have screens however. Previous owner must have used her A C all the time. We however love to have lots of doors and windows open. So.....Do I have to get replacement screens doors from Pella? If yes, where would I find the model number? Can I get them made cheaper elsewhere? If yes, where? We do have an Ace Hardware plus lowes, home depot etc How much do you think they will cost? How do I measure properly?Anything else I need to consider? We do have a dog and a cat that scratch to get in...Yes, I could research this myself... don't want to re invent the wheel so to speak Thanks everyone

We are buying a house with a sliding glass door and there is no lock on the sliding glass door?
The man at the door place believes that the door was installed backwards so that the broomstick would be on the outside. If I turn it around, there still won't be a lock. We don't need a lock that opens from the outside,What do?The broomstick would have to be placed outside. The thief would see it and remove it and then come in.

How do I fix a gap in my sliding glass door?
the bottom of the door seals and the lock will latch, but near the top there is a gap that is about an inch and a quarter wide. It looks like the door itself is off kilter. I have read the previous answers but its not the fix I need. If anyone has an answer it would be greatly appreciated.

Sliding Glass Door lock?
In Texas there is a requirement that a sliding glass door have an additional lock if requested by a tenant. I made this request 1 month ago and it is still not installed. What is a reasonable amount of time to do this? Thanks for your response Jack. However, I have contacted my landlord and it still has not been done. It has been a month. I reread the requirements for TX and it says, " Any sliding glass doors must have two separate locking devices." So even if they install one now, they have been in violation of the law for the last month, is that correct? Thanks for your response FOXES . I did submit my request in writing multple times. So I do have a leg to stand on. I'm sorry if my question offended you, but there was no need to respond if you didn't like the question.

How can I figure out the Mfg of my sliding glass door to purchase a sliding screen?
The glass says PPG Herculite K and the lock on the door says Anderson. I was told that PPG Herculite is stricly a glass mfg that supplies to many door companies. I was also told that Anderson will ony use there own glass. Home depot told me that the mfg matters and that most companies have a slight differ so that you must buy their sliding screen only.

Sliding glass door? Is it considered my fault?
Okay. So I rent an apartment which has a sliding glass door leading out onto the porch. It has always been a bit hard to move because of how old it is and the apartment maintenance did know this.Anyway I went to close it today and as I was closing it the glass separated from the frame aluminum I think and the side of the frame separated from the bottom of the frame. I tried to see if it would just pop back together, but it won't. The office is closed now, so I can't really call until tomorrow morning. What I would like to know though Is this considered normal wear and tear we've only lived here for 4 months and because most of these months featured snow, we've only opened this door 3 or 4 times ? Or is it considered that I damaged it? Will I be responsible to pay for it? Does this mean when I move I won't get my deposit back?Any help and advice is welcomed Thanks in advance
