Wood framed sliding screen door attachment Ques?
So our back sliding door is wood framed and the sliding screen door is also wood framed. It is attached to the top aluminum slides via 2 3inch screws. At the bottom there is nothing but the slides. I wanted to take the screen down to wash it so I unscrewed the top screws. Then realized I couldn't get the screen off the slides for some reason. Maybe the humidity made it swell, IDK but I didn't want to take a chance tugging on it. Anyway, I went to replace the screws and there is no catch. I mean I put the screws in the hole but it's like an empty hole with nothing for the screw to grab hold of.Q1 how do I get a wood frame sliding screen off the frame without damaging anythingQ2 what needs to be done to replace the top screws? Right now the door is sitting on the bottom slide but is not attached at the top.

How do you buy an insert for a screen door?
I need a screen with frame to replace to storm glass thats in my front door. I guess there are different sizes and such. I tried to look on home depots website but I could seem to find them as a whole piece...just screen material, or the door as a whole set...i just need the screen insert piece...Can some one give me a hyperlink just to what i need? How do I install a patio screen door if the floor in inclined?
I have a covered patio that I'm in the process of screening in. I'm at the point where I'm about to frame the screen doors that will be at each end. I've hit a wall trying to figure out how to make the doors work. The patio is on top of a 10x20 slab at the back of my house. There is about a 2 inch decline from my house to the end on the slab for water runoff. So my question is, how do I frame the aluminum doors so they don't hit the slab when they open and also the door don't swing open by themselves? I don't the cutting the bottom of the doors at that angle is an option.Thanks

Am looking for a spring to fix a screen door. Have looked online at Lowe's and Stanley Hardware makes them, but how do I determine the size? They mention a number 4 spring and a number 6 spring. The site gives no measurements, which I find odd. Anyone have any clues? Thanks

My mother in law, and landlord is the biggest bitch in the world. Whenever she gets angry with me and my fiance she locks us out of the house when we go to work. We have working keys to the dead bolt, but neither of us have the key to the glass screen door. How can you disable a lock permanently without having it looked damaged?
