Is there any kind of bedroom door locks that leave no marks?
My family is renting a house for about 5 months.I always have a lock from the outside as people always come in without knocking no matter how many times i told them.In my previous house which we owned, i had one of those metal ones that slide over behind the door, but they leave marks.Is there any type of lock that won't leave marks and damages?Thanks

Front door locks freezing in 30 degree weather cannot open locks tried wd-40 no luck?
this is the first time this happened i have storm door and my front door bottom lock freezes and booth are grade one schlage locks just this year this started. last year it never happened the only was i can keep the lock from freezing is to put a double folded up rag over the lock and secure it around the knob with a rubber band on the out side my out side garage locks never freeze up what gives the dead bolt doesn't freeze up ?

Hotpoint aquarius washing machine door locked light wont come on or it flashes?
Hi, i was just wondering if anyone has had this same problem or knows what could be causing this. I have a hotpoint aquarius washing machine and the wash wont start because it is saying the door isnt locked and the light wont come on or it flashes. We have replaced the circuit board where the door locks and it worked once then stopped again. I have been told I could need to empty the filter, would this cause the door to say its not locked? Could anyone give me any information on this before i call somebody out to take a look? Thanks
Ohio Building Code-Door Lock Question?
Hello,I just have a question about door locks, and the Ohio building code requirements for them.If I remember correctly, I thought that for RENTAL properties meaning owner does not live in them, and rent the property to someone else , that the deadbolt locks on the doors could NOT be key only. Meaning, that the deadbolts that require a key to unlock it from the inside...instead of a knob to turn to unlock it. I know this is allowed if you are the owner of the property and you live in the said property. But I thought it was illegal in rental properties.Am I correct? Or am I mistaken? Please let me know. I tried looking through Ohio building code and fire code...but the documents were so long, I could not find anything on it.Thank you
