Unfortunately it seems to stain very easily I accidentally left a drop of mustard on the countertop for a few hours and now there is a yellow spot that won't come off . i once saw via the internet edge molds that you can place in your concrete countertop forms in order to achieve a decorative edge. i can't seem to find it online anymore. this seems a more practical method that buying a concrete router for $2500. anyone know what i'm talking about. go giants.looking for edge mold, not sink mold. still not finding it.
Concrete countertop Help!?
It is my first concrete countertop, I have very little equipment. I have a couple of good books but I'm having a hard time finding proper instructions for sanding down the top to expose the aggrigate. I don't have a diamond pad, I do out a orbital sander and a grinder, I have regular sanding blocks for wood. I need to know what grit to use too, I don't want to spend the next week sanding by hand but I will if thats what I have to do. Any suggestions? Oh, by the way, I used a mold, and it is a very tiny bathroom vanity, just a 22x31 in, something like that. Thanks.
Concrete Countertop Tools?
Lately I've been thinking of making my own concrete countertop. The materials are cheap, but the stone polishing tools are cost prohibitive.Does anyone know of a cheap way to polish concrete? other than expensive diamond polishing discs If not, where could I find the cheapest assortment of discs with multiple levels of grit?SafetyDan Egads, those are some expensive polishing discs. Those prices are precisely what I'm trying to avoid.
