The only markings i can find on the tub is, 51 2 10 9 03 DI know it is 51 2 feet long,and the feet have a P marked on the inside.

I just purchased a claw foot tub and it has 3 holes drilled in the tub wall. I would like to find a nice looking way to plug the faucet holes. I intend on using a faucet that attaches to the bathroom wall.I have looked high and low for plugs specifically for this purpose and have come up with nothing. Any ideas of where to look and what to look for?

i have a tub that is in perfect i mean perfect condition that dates back to 1900 its a standard stamped porcelain clawfoot tub. the feet look to be sandblasted iron. its a small tub though and i was wondering what it would be worth? there is not a stain or mark on it. it measures 59 by 25 inches. any input would be appreciated. Also how would i go about selling it?

How to secure the handles on my clawfoot tub?
I have a claw foot tub, the handles are simple, they just slide on the peg and a screw tightens them around a tread. I have to do this at least once a month on the hot and cold, the handle to turn on the tub and the handle to turn on the shower. They just suddenly fall off one day after tightening. We do have very hard water in town rural but use a softener. I don't think that has anything to do with it though. The only thing I have found online to fix it was putting some plumbers tape on the treads and then put the handle back on, then tighten th screw. Whats the best way to not soak the floor taking a shower in a clawfoot tub? Use 2 shower curtains?

How do I extend a piece of 1 inch chome pipe? Specifically, a rectangular shower rod over my clawfoot tub.?
I have an antique clawfoot tub and the house came with a piece of rectangular chrome tubing above the tub for the shower curtain. The problem I have is that the tub is significantly longer than the shower curtain enclosure and it looks goofy not to mention it's a little claustrophobic when showering . Is there a way I can cut the chrome tubing and lengthen it?

Thanks for the answer. You said sandblast and then powder coat. From what I understand the powder coating is used only for the outside. The inside must be re porcelainized Sp? ? Is this what you suggest? Would I have them sandblast the inside too? THANKS

I have a 5 1 2 foot clawfoot tub, It has a W inside a circle stamped on the bottom. Also the size 5 1 2 and beside that is 30. A little lower is 18 then some space and 76. Can anyone tell what year it is and who produced it? Thanks.
