How do you clean poop out from under the rim of toilet bowl where water flushes from?
I know how to clean a toilet bowl. But for years I never took a mirror and looked up underneath my toilet bowl rim underneath where there are a bunch of holes for the water to come out of when you flush your toilet . So I took a mirror and looked and there was brown poop smeared up inside each of the flush holes. I tried to use a toothbrush to clean it even a toothpick and I just smeared more of the brown stuff deeper in the holes. So if you look in my toilet it looks great at first, but take a mirror and look underneath under my rim you'll notice brown junk caked in each of the holes where water flushes out from. So how do I get these clean? You would think water flushing out of them everyday would wash poop away but apparently it doesn't. And if you think you got a clean toilet I suggest you take a hand mirror and look underneath the rim of your toilet. You can wipe all you want but it won't get rid of the brown junk caked in the flush holes. So what do you suggest? Also, I looked inside the toilet tank and it lookes all brown and rusty. Is that old pee and poop stains too? Can poop water back up from the toilet into the tank?for years I used to wipe and scrub underneath the rim of my toilet without knowing I was smearing poop into each of the holes where water flushes out from.I think this happened cause I always have to use a plunger when I poop so the poopy water fills up the bowl before I get a chance to plunge it fast enough. so poopy water moves up into the flush holes.

A plumbing problem. When I flush the toilet the pipes make a sound for a minute or so, Why?
When I turn on the cold water tap the sound goes away nd when I close it the sound comes back.I have no plumbing experience and don't know any terms. Any hints or tips will be helpful. I will take your advice to youtube.

Okay so the toilet won't flush?
Okay so like the toilet doesn't like flush and stuff when I like push the flusher or whatever it's called.I like looked inside the toilet and saw that the weird rat tail thing attached to the flusher like isn't attached to the thing that sucks in the water when you like flush, I don't know the names of the parts, sorry about that. But like I reattached it and it just like keep breaking loose and I always have to go in and attach it again. How can I like keep it from breaking loose all the time?
How do you clean a toilet with poop stains?
My wife just got through with cleaning a house whose children did not flush the toilet. This left black poop stains on the bottom of the toilet. I'd like to share with you the steps of what she did to get rid of the stains. 1 Turn off the water to the toilet. 2 Flush all of the water out of the toilet. 3 Since there will still be water in the toilet after flushing, make sure that you use a cup and paper towels to remove all water out of the toilet. 4 Pour enough vinegar into the toilet to emerse the poop stains. 5 Let the vinegar stay in the toilet for three days. 6 Remove poop stains with copper pad.Now if you have a black fecal ring in your toilet, use the above steps 1 3 then, get some paper towels, saturate them with vinegar, and place them on the fecal ring. Make sure that the paper towels remain on the ring and remain saturated with vinegar for three days. Last, use the above step 6.If you follow the above steps exactly, you should end up with a toilet free of poop stains.
Do all toilet bowls have little holes under the rim like mine does? What are they for?
I got an old toilet. I don't know if your toilet has this or not. I took a little hand mirror and looked under the rim of my toilet bowl. And there are about 8 little holes . I don't know if that's where water flushes out of or into the bowl? Does your toilet bowl have little holes under the rim like mine? I can't clean the holes they are too little and they got brown poop stains caked inside them. I would get a new toilet but I don't want another toilet bowl with holes underneath the rim. Water usually doesn't rise that high, but if you overflow the toilet or you got to use the plunger after you poop, then the dirty water gets high enough it goes inside the holes.
How to unclog a toilet that is clogged with paper towel?
I know, its a stupid thing to di, but i didn't know what i was thinking so i flushed it, and the toilet was clogged the whole time up until now. I tried plunging again and again, but it doesn't seem to help although a bit of water does go down and i dont know what to do now. I tried pouring hot water in, plunging, trying to pull the clog out myself but im not able to reach it. I even tried taking all of the water out and plunge but it doesnt seem to work. I need tips and advice. I am terrified of calling a plumper. And no, i have not tried the snake yet.

Toilet - slow drain pressure?
Howdy, One of our toilets appears to be draining with low water pressure. Liquids will flush w o a prob, but solids have trouble going completely down. I've tried the following with these results 1. Plunged the toilet no change 2. Used Liquid Plumber type approved for toilets and this will successly flush all the way down. However, all flushes after this have no change ie draining with low water pressure . 3. Replaced the flapper. Note Our upstairs toilet has no prob's and we live in a condo which is three levels stories up. Any suggestions ideas? Thanks,Howdy, Thanks for the excellent suggestions. I did clean out the toilet bowl, water flow holes jets not much buildup, but a bit. I also plunged a bit more and got the toilet to where it is almost completely flushing. Lol I'll keep at it ...
