Material for toilet seats. thermoplastic or polypropelene? which is best?
dont want a timber toilet seatnotice theres polypropelene ones and thermoplastic ones. we just wondered which would be the better quality. would use price as a guide t which is best but some shops the thermo ones are dearest and others the poly ones are dearest.
Who knows how to fix a toilet seat with no visible acces to the hinge?
I have a little problem with the hinges on the toilet seat. The toilet is a 'Parisi sorrento' and one of the hinges is loose and the toilet slides to the sides, as where most toilet seats there is a nut and bolt on the outside and just getting a new hinge and loosing the bolt would be easy to fix. But with this toilet it seems to be attatched within the basin and I have no idea how to access this. Any help would be much appreciated thanks

At our church we have what we thought was a normal toilet , until we tried to buy a new seat apparently toilet seats are 16 inches across to fit 16 inch toilets, ours is 19 inches across, this has become a bit of a headache, can anyone help our toilet dilemma?

I used these anti bacterial wipes usually used for toilet seats on my sink, is it ok to do that or is the chemical too strong and bad like bleach for my toothpaste etc and my hands?
Do they sell Toilet Seat Closers?
I am searching for one that would close AUTOMATICALLY without any physical action to initiate it's closure. I can't find ANYTHING selling. I have seen slow close seats. Can they be modified with a hinge that's attached to a timer that would " push" it close after say.. 30 seconds of the seat being up? Or a sensor attached to the flush mechanism. I live in a lodge with some guys and I don't want to " ask them" to put down the seat... I have seen a video with a string attached from the floater inside the tank to the seat but that looks TOO obvious and weird. Plus, I don't want them to know what I'm up to.I want it to CLOSE BY ITSELF. So they have NO CHOICE whether it's down or up. Damn straight Do I have to invent this?I think they should make some that simply use the power of gravity where after 10 or so seconds of the lid being up it eventually slowly falls back down.. I bet there's a way to modify those slow closing seat hinges.Back to my question.. has anyone seen any auto close toilet seats for sale I don't want any other features . Thanks. DAlso, I want details on what brands and where I can find them. Not just " yes" and " no" . Thanks again.
