i need to redue my guest bathroom sink for cheap like under $500 dollars. i like marble and all and i wouldnt change it but it is the most ugly pink like 50's baby pink i just want to change the color but i dont know if thats possible can u paint marble? i just want to get read fo that pink its not really function considering the rest of the bathroom is done it a ship theme anyone have any ideas to help me
What would cause a sewage smell coming from UNDER one of the two bathroom sinks?
It smells distinctly like sewage, at first I didn't notice any smell. Couple days after we moved in I notice this strong sewage odor in the bedroom & followed it into the bathroom to the strongest point being under the sink. Thinking this could of just been trapped under there somehow I opened all three cabinet doors on the vanity to " air it out" . This made no difference, 6hrs later the smell was still strongly coming from under the left sink. Any ideas what I should be looking for to remedy this problem??? This is 100 % a brand new house. Seriously I have used the sink to brush my teeth & wash my hands for less than a week I have used the shower & the bathtub, no odor coming from either of those. It's to the point where I can't stand being in there long enough to use any part of the bathroom now. Shutting the door & opening the vanity doors while leaving the vent fan going does absolutely nothing to get rid of this odor either, absolutely no change at all after 12 hrs Please help I hate being in a new home that has such a horrible issue of this nasty smell Everything else has been in perfect working order in my new house, makes this SO frusterating Thanks for any information you can help me with Thank you for your response. I will have to figure out how to check for any sewer line connection leaks, may have to call in a pro for that if no other solution can be found as it will be tricky. The smell is distinctly coming form under the sink not from the drain & I've ran water in all drains anyway as I've had to clean everything when we moved in & have been using everything as well. I know it can't be build up or clogs, that's why I wanted it clear it was all new so that's ruled out. I can about stick my nose in the drain from the top in the sink & smell nothing so can't be from lack of water in " J" blocking gas. I have done some research & see I have an air admittance valve on the one sink, how can I tell if this is perhaps the problem??? There is nothing else I can see or find that makes any sense as to where the smell is coming from. The other sink has a pipe that appears to go up & I assume out of the roof for venting...will have to double check that it is in proper working o
My Bathroom sink water smells kinda funny?
Well It just started today, I woke up and then did my daily brushing my teeth. It wasn't til later in the day til I washed my hands after eating that I noticed this weird smell. I put the water in my hands and started sniffing it to see how it smelled it smelled kinda funny meaning bad smell. so Then I went to see now I'm not sure whether it was the water that smelled bad or it was just my hands that smelled bad cause I couldn't tell. It's in all bathroom sinks upstairs and downstairs. So I looked at all the other yahoo questions and it seems to be harmful. Well, I wash my mouth and rinse my eyes with this water, can it pose as a potential threat to my eyes body like when I rinse my eyes or wash my mouth or even take a shower? or is it disease causing? It doesn't smell that bad. I can live with it, my mom has no knowledge of it either, She's at work. Help please, Thank you in Advance.
